Shock of a Lifetime…

Posted by: Ryan on: April 5, 2008

I came out to my mother over the phone, as trans and gay. I didn’t expect it to go well. At all.

But she’s fine.

Absolutely fine.

She says that she will always love me.

I am shocked, and thrilled, and so glad that she isn’t overdosing on valium as we speak.

Her only request is that I don’t tell too many people back home from my past. Which doesn’t really bother me, cos if I have my MUM, who else to I bloody well NEED from back then?

Awesome! Cheers!

That’s great!
It’s wonderful when people surprise us like that. Especially in a situation like this.
Congratulations!
I say this trying to shed it of sounding in anyway condescending, but it’s unavoidable… I’m proud of you. Like I would be proud of myself.

congratulations! *hugs*

Congrats dude!

I know how stressful it must have been . . . we do worry about worrying our moms, don’t we?
