Cheerful Megalomaniac is a blog without a very clear mission. Its mostly a personal blog where I wank on about whatever happens to be interesting me at the time. Mostly this is related to gender, relationships, and queerness in one form or another.
I was assigned female at birth, but I had my doubts about the validity of this assessment from a fairly early age. In September of 2007 I found out I could transition to male, and after several months contemplation I decided that a lifetime of testosterone shots would totally be worth it if I could have a beard of my very own.
Somewhat more recently I discovered postmodernism… I deconstructed my own gender until I landed in such a state of confusion that I am no longer able to tell you what gender I am. I identify as genderqueer, and like to be referred to with male pronouns.
I’m always changing, and I never fix for long on one idea… there’s always another more interesting one around the corner. I hope to go back to university some time soon, and learn about sociology and maybe write a thesis on something queer.
Patrick Califia is my hero, and Leslie Feinberg fascinates me. I think that Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore is cool, and that my friends are the next generation of Awesome, and that the world is changing.

Hi Ryan,
Facebook is preventing me from writing to you through Jacky’s profile. ANyhow, you can delete this comment once you have read it I am not meaning to spam you. This is only mildly related to your blog.
I am working on a multi-part series of blog articles about fuckwit teenage boys and growing up. This is written by me (the 37 year old milf) and the 18 year old boy who used to live and party across the landing from me (he’s 20 now). He was like Corey Worthington and one day I lured him with a case of beer and kidnapped him away from the douchebags living with him and gave him a good spanking (this is a joke BTW, he liked me a lot so it was a very social connection) In about 18 months I think I made a man out of him and scared all the other dumbasses (including one dangerous criminal) away. Anyway he seems to think I straightened him up and watching Corey on Big Brother scared the shit out of him. He is wondering why he did not write his own story before. The first installment is linked with this comment. You would be the first Australian who’s opinion I seek on the matter. I expect to post the teenage boy lens version tomorrow or Saturday morning.
I hope Corey doesn’t live across the landing from you with his mates now LOL
Love your blog!
Miss Eva
